Spider Ball Activities

Students worked on soccer dribbling while playing spider ball tag.  Members of the class had different color spider balls (a ball with rubber bands sticking out that allows the ball to roll at a slower pace) and dribbled them around the room.  When their color was called they became the poison spider and attempted to tap the feet or the ball of their classmates.  If this happened, the person tapped had to do 3 jumping jacks and then return to the game.  New colors were constantly called so everyone got a chance to be the poison spider.

Another game involved dribbling the spider ball to a cone where a Halloween toy was waiting.  Once the cone was tapped by the ball, the student tossed the toy into the air and tried to catch it 5 times before moving on to a new cone and a new toy.
