As part of World Teachers' Day, we talked about the word RESPECT, what it means, and how it is important if students are to do their best work in class. Just for fun, I put on the song "Respect" by Aretha Franklin and let the students free dance for our warm-up. It was so cute to watch. Some students were very reserved and others completely "let loose." Since this was also World Smile Day, I smiled a lot watching my preschool and kindergarten students dance.
