Mummy Bowling

Today in Physical Education we started to work on some Halloween games.  The first game was "Mummy Bowling."  Children continued to practice stepping in opposition as they rolled a light up pumpkin ball at a bowling pin that looked like a mummy.  Each time they knocked down a mummy they received a token for their team.  For part of the time, I turned off the lights in the gym so the light up pumpkins balls could really glow.  It was great fun.

Stepping in opposition as the ball is rolled.

This ball is right on track to hit the mummy bowling pin.

There were some hits and some misses as children worked on stepping in opposition and rolling the pumpkin ball towards the mummy pin.
