An acquaintance of mine,
Sandy “Spin” Slade, is a professional basketball entertainer and motivational speaker. She owns a company in California called
“Skillastics.” She has reached out to physical
educators and parents with a fun exercise calendar (in both English and
Spanish) that keeps kids (and families) moving. She
gives suggestions for the number of times to do an activity, but choose the
number that works best for your child or family. Try to do one activity a day or, if you’re
ambitious, do several. Although Sandy
