Physical Activity Challenge

If you are just accessing my PE blog for our distance learning program, please view
older posts for more ideas to help keep your child active and working on skills.

Listen to a message from Mrs. Wagner with her two schnauzer dogs, Fender and Gadget.

Last week during my walks I saw children:

1. walking/running
2. dribbling/shooting a basketball
3. kicking at a soccer goal
4. flying a kite
5. playing hopscotch
6. drawing with sidewalk chalk
7. pushing babies in strollers with their parents
8. riding bikes, skateboards, and scooters
9. walking dogs
10. running a homemade obstacle course
11. playing catch
12 golfing (I live by a golf course.)
13. blowing and chasing bubbles
14. hitting a volleyball

MY CHALLENGE TO YOU

Take a walk with your family.  Make a note of all the different physical activities you see.  Choose one of those activities and try it at home.  If possible, try something that you don’t usually do all the time.

Children drew a chalk obstacle course in their circle drive.

Choosing basketball as your activity? Click here for a dribbling challenge.

Have a good time walking with your family.
