On the final day of Dr. Seuss week, the Cat in the Hat stopped by for a fun run with the early childhood students. Groups met in the gymnasium where the "Cat" read an excerpt from Dr. Seuss' "Fox in Socks." The book was projected onto a screen so that all children could see the illustrations. After the story, everyone stood to do a warm-up dance to the song "Green Eggs and Ham", followed by a 5 minute run in the gym with the Cat in the Hat. The morning concluded with class photos with the "Cat." It was a fun time and a great workout!
