Welcome back to school! I hope you are excited about another fun year in physical education. This year my theme is "Active Academics" and I have many activities planned for you. We will be incorporating numbers, letters, colors, shapes, word sounds, simple mathematics, and some geography into our instant activities, warm-ups, and daily lessons. Just think of physical education as an extension of the academic classroom. It's going to be a great year and I look forward to working with everyone.
By the way, I've always known that I chose the right profession, but it was recently affirmed when one of my young students said to me after returning from summer vacation, "I misted you, Mrs. Wagner." I smiled and said, "I misted you, too!"
