The Dr. Seuss Fun Run

The Dr. Seuss Fun Run is an event that we hold each year in conjunction with Read Across America Week. Many classes study the books of Dr. Seuss and participate in various activities in their classrooms. Some students made Cat in the Hat hats and designed Dr. Seuss t-shirts. The run is usually done inside because of cold weather. Students warmed up with a dance entitled "Green Eggs and Ham", did some stretching to music with the Cat in the Hat, ran many laps around the gym, and took group pictures with the Cat in the Hat. What a fun morning!
