Since it is so early in the year and we have not yet worked on overhand throwing, this event was a bit challenging for many students. Of course, using a long foam rocket as our javelin made the trajectory a bit inconsistent, but students still enjoyed trying to throw as far as they could. Kindergarten students even added the run before the throw.
