Passing the Olympic Rings

Just for fun, students participated in an activity where they had to join hands together and pass the five Olympic rings from one end to the other without disconnecting hands.  They learned that the five rings represent the five continents that participate in the games (Americas - North and South, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia.  They figured out that Antarctica is not represented because it is too cold and no athletes come from there.  They also learned that at this time, at least one color from the Olympic rings is represented in the flag of each country that participates in the games.
