We started our review of the Olympics with our very own opening ceremony. There was a parade of nations with students carrying flags of different countries as they marched in to music. We also had the delivery of the Olympic torch and raising of the Olympic flag. Students got to watch a brief video of this as it took place in Rio. They liked the rotating artwork that moved behind the cauldron. They thought it looked like the sun.
