Parent visitation days found students and parents participating in Mummy Bowling. Everyone worked on sliding a Halloween beanbag on the floor and trying to knock over a bowling pin that looked like a mummy. Students worked on stepping in opposition, using scrunchies on the foot and wrist to denote which foot to step with and in which hand to hold the beanbag. This method generally works well. Some classes accumulated tokens for each pin knocked down and then counted them when the game was finished. It was fun and students made improvement on this skill. The more they practice it, the more this skill will come naturally as students continue through the year.
