Friday was the last day of our Summer Olympics review in Physical Education. Mrs. Reeder's preschool class participated in the closing ceremony. The students marched in with flags of the countries. The Olympic flag was passed off to the student representing Japan, where the 2020 Summer Olympics will be held. The Olympic torch was then extinguished. The ceremony was followed by our own fireworks display. Students did a sparkle wand routine to Katie Perry's "Firework." It was a fun event.
Students have enjoyed this Olympic review. We covered a lot of different sports/activities and learned a lot of new information. I hope your child shared some of their experiences with you.
