Kindergarten students learned a bit about New Orleans and had the opportunity to do a crawfish dance in Physical Education. No one mentioned that they had ever tried crawfish. Even though I have been to New Orleans several times, I have to admit that I have never worked up the courage to try it either. Next week kindergarten students will do a Mardi Gras activity.

Some of the moves in our crawfish dance included pinchers up, two step dig it,
hand jive, waving side to side, and walking backwards making a crawfish tail.
