World Farm Animal Day is October 2, 2018. After talking about the 5 senses, we played a game that identified farm animal sounds. Students were given a card with a farm animal on it and someone else had the same card. Students were then blind folded and had to crawl around making the noise of the animal. They used their sense of hearing to find the person with the same animal sound. We switched out animals several times. The students thought this game was funny.
Blindfolded students crawl around trying to find the animal that matches their card.
They use the sound of the animal to identify each other.
These two turkeys have found each other using the "Gobble" sound.
Calling out "MOO," these two students found each other.
