A "Super" Time at Early Childhood Dad's Day

What a wonderful time everyone had at last Friday's Early Childhood Dad's Day.  The "My Dad is My Hero" theme was such fun as many students, dads, faculty, and staff came dressed in their favorite hero shirts or costumes to celebrate the afternoon together. I spent most of my time in the gymnasium at "Open Gym" but it seemed like everyone was having a good time at all the stations.  There was a Spiderman web crawl, hand print poem to make, Captain America and Wonder Woman shield and cuff craft, photos with dad, rescue vehicle races, a super hero training station, shave dad, cars and emergency vehicles to view, super hero tattoos, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, instrument exploration in the music room, read a book in the library, and popsicles at the end of the day.  Needless to say, everyone was quite busy.

Thank you to parents and staff who made or supplied materials for our special day, or dressed in costume to add excitement for the children.  Thanks, also, to the many dads, moms, or special guests, who came out to make the event so memorable for your child.  You are, indeed, their super hero.

Can you guess who the early childhood faculty member is who portrayed Batman?
