Today, March 2, is the birthday of Theodore Geisel or, as we know him, Dr. Seuss. Many classes are celebrating this week with special artwork or activities. All classes will have a short 5 minute jog with the "Cat in the Hat" on Wednesday morning, March 4, in the south gym at 8:30. Students will do a silly warm-up to a song called "Green Eggs and Ham" and then will divide into two groups, Preschool and PreK/Kindergarten, to run with the cat. It is not a serious run but, rather, a fun way to celebrate the work of a beloved author. Students are invited to dress in fun t-shirts, hats, headbands, etc. for the event, but it is not a requirement.
