#4 - "Spartans in Action" and more Short Exercise Videos from the NFL

Here's how some of your friends
stayed physically active this week.
Keep up the good work!

These children tried out archery.  Their arrows have a ball on the tip.

This student had fun choosing his favorite characters and doing
the corresponding exercises on the video from the April 14 post.

Members of this family did the Favorite Character Fitness video, as well.

These children found the markers, did the exercise, and colored in the rainbow
as they participated in the Rainbow Activity from the April 3 post.

Riding a bike was a fun form of exercise.

This student took time to color with sidewalk chalk.

Watch one of our students go through an outdoor
obstacle course that he and his family designed.
What a fun idea!

Remember to send me pictures or short videos of any of the physical activities you are doing at home and I will include them in next week's "Spartans in Action" post.

The American Heart Association and the National Football League sponsor the "Fuel Up to Play 60" program that encourages children to get 60 minutes of physical activity a day.  In an earlier post, I included a link to one of their videos.  Today I'm including the link that has several of their videos where they talk about health, fitness, and the heart.  Scroll down on their internet page to find videos of players leading children through several activities. Click on the video you want and then scroll back up to the bigger screen area to see the video.
