Rowing

Students learned that there are several rowing events in the Olympics and that the number of people rowing the boat can vary from one to eight.  We pretended that we were racing in a boat called a scull. Children got quite a good workout during this event, as they sat on scooters for the boats and used octopus paddles as the oars.  This was probably the most challenging of any of the events so far due to the amount of strength it took to pull the scooter across the floor using only the paddles and no legs.
