Many classes celebrated Dr. Seuss Week with fun activities and art work. In Physical Education we concluded the week with a Dr. Seuss Fun Run. Students came to the gymnasium to run with the Cat in the Hat. We warmed up with some routines to music, including a dance to "Green Eggs and Ham," and then jogged in the gym with the Cat. Many teachers and students dressed up in fun shirts, hats, and headbands. The kindergarten students even designed their very own shirts that looked absolutely wonderful. It was a fun event. A big thank you to my husband who served as the Cat in the Hat.
