October 1, 2018 was Balloons Around the World Day. Balloons are often a fun way for children to work on tracking something in the air and also to improve the skills of tossing and catching. In Physical Education, preschool children worked on tossing the balloon in the air with control and catching the balloon on the sides. They also practiced tapping the balloon with their fingers and palm of the hand and keeping it airborne. Our balloons were special because they had the world printed on them.
