Early Childhood "Pajama Run" Benefits Our Friend Polo
When school maintenance worker, Polo, was hurt in an accident this summer and unable to work, the Early Childhood division wanted to do something special for him. We organized a "Pajama Run" where the students would wear their pajamas to school and come out to the track and jog a "lap of love." Students donated gift cards and money to Polo by placing their gifts in a special heart decorated basket. Polo came to the runs in the morning and afternoon and thanked each runner with a special high five. It was a wonderful day and such a special lesson for our students. They were very concerned about Polo and excited to do what they could to help him out. Thank you to everyone for your support of this event. It was a huge success and Polo was extremely grateful.
