Thank you to all the mothers, grandmothers, and other special guests who came to school on Friday, May 9, to participate in our early childhood Mom's Day Celebration. The "Moms Are Magnifico" theme certainly made the day fun! I hope you enjoyed visiting the many stations like paper hats, soccer, pin the flower on the cactus, the tandem taco race, hand print poems, face painting, tattoos, musical dots, fishing, decorating maracas, playing in the music room, and eating ice cream. Thanks, too, for visiting the gymnasium and participating in our Mexican Fiesta. The children enjoyed doing the Macarena and Mexican Hat Dance with you. However, they especially loved the cracking of the cascarones (confetti filled eggs) over each others' head. What fun!
