Early Childhood students celebrated the birthday of Kansas with a special day in the gymnasium. They rotated to different stations and enjoyed activities like petting farm animals, watching a quilter, singing songs, listening to a pioneer story, roping cows, peeling and eating apples, playing pioneer games, washing clothes on a washboard, and eating cornbread muffins with fresh made butter that they had churned. The morning finished with some scatter square dancing. It was great fun! Thank you to all the wonderful parent volunteers who assisted with the event and made it so special and educational for our students.
