JAM (Just a Minute)

Great Beginning students dance to "The Freeze."

Thursday, February 12, early childhood students participated in the JAM project, which stands for Just a Minute.  This project encourages children around the world to stop all at the same time for one minute and exercise.  Our students participated at 10:00 in the morning.  Some children were in physical education and music, but other teachers lead movement in their classrooms.  There were activities like dancing and the game Simon Says.  Last year Kansas was number three in the nation for schools participating in this event.  We were happy to do our part to help Kansas stay in the top three.

Below Great Beginnings students move to a video on the television.
