Important Update: - Due to inclement weather, Dad's Day activities have moved to the north and south gyms on the Thirteenth Street campus. We're still planning for a great time!
This year's theme for Early Childhood Dad's Day is "Yoda Best Dad in the Galaxy." One of the special stations at this event is "Open Gym." Dads are invited to come to the south gymnasium and participate in fun physical activities with your child(ren). Students have been working hard to learn the many stations in the gym and are anxious to share everything with Dad.
If you or your child have a space t-shirt (sun, stars, moon, planets, aliens, rocket, spaceship, etc.) or a Star Wars shirt or hat, please wear it for Dad's Day. We do request, however, that light sabres stay at home.
There will be several photo opportunities available for you and your child. Star Wars characters will be walking around our early childhood campus so feel free to have a photo taken with them. Also, there will be a photo booth at the front of the Early Childhood building where you can have a picture taken to look like you are riding on a rocket.
It's going to be a great event. I hope you will join us for this very special day.
