Even though "the force" seemed against us for our Early Childhood
"Yoda Best Dad in the Galaxy" Dad's Day celebration, the rainy weather did not deter us from having a fantastic time. All the activities were moved inside to the north and south gyms, allowing everyone to stay dry and wander from activity to activity in a timely fashion. Students and their dads enjoyed open gym, space relays, face painting, making alien headbands, shaving their dad, paper rocket making, drawing an astronaut, and having their picture taken at the photo booth. It was great to see so many people dressed in their Star Wars and space t-shirts. It certainly added to the fun of the event. There were also some middle school students who dressed as Star Wars characters wandering about providing photo opportunities for parents and children. It was a fun afternoon. Thank you to everyone who made the day such a memorable one.
