Continuing with our Halloween games in Physical Education, preschool classes had the chance to do an activity called "Spiders." We talked about the word "arachnid" and how spiders were in the arachnid family. Students moved and acted out the words to a song entitled "Spiders." They even had a chance to yell out "BOO" during the movement. This activity had children in a crab walk position which puts body weight on their arms. It gets tiring after a while but the children did a good job moving in this way.
Students moved quickly to music as they maintained a crab walk position.
Part of the song had students sneaking up on Little Miss Muffet and yelling "BOO."
