Early Childhood Pioneer Day was a great way to spend the 158th birthday of our great state, Kansas. Children enjoyed attending this event and participating in the many activities that were provided for them. Many thanks to the parents, grandparents, students, and friends who volunteered their time to run the many stations or help with the rotation of children; and to the teachers and aides who supervised their classes. The children were so engaged in everything that was presented. Thanks, too, to everyone who joined in the scatter square dance. You not only looked fantastic, but appeared to have a wonderful time.
