Read and Romp Day - 2019

Monday, March 4, was Early Childhood Read and Romp Day.  What a spectacular day.  It was filled with great books, fun activities, a tasty snack, beautiful artwork, fabulous volunteers, wonderful teachers and administrators, and students having a great time.  Who could ask for anything more?  Students enjoyed rotating to 10 different stations where they either did a physical activity, danced, painted a picture, or ate a snack.  Each station lasted only 12 minutes so students were very busy for over two hours.

Many thanks to everyone who made this day so special.  Mrs. Mould and I are grateful to all of you for supporting this event.

The book, Big Rock Candy Mountains, is read in the snack area.

A parachute dance is done at the book Inky the Octopus.

Bugs are matched up at the book, Bustle in the Bushes.

This student strikes a pose at the end of his dance at the book, Footloose.

Jumping on the hippity hops was fun at the book, Hooray for Hoppy!

Thank you morning Read and Romp Day volunteers.

Thanks to our many afternoon volunteers.
