Fun at the Chocolate Swamp Challenge for Early Childhood Mom's Day 2019

What a great day it was at the "Mom You Are So Sweet" Candyland theme Early Childhood Mom's Day.  Stations were set up outside, in the early childhood halls, music room, and the south gym.  Everything was decorated beautifully with over-sized candies and sweet treats made by students and teachers.

The gymnasium had "The Chocolate Swamp" part of the Candyland game.  Fifteen different stations were set up related to various kinds of chocolate treats.  There were stations like the chocolate cheesecake golf putt, chocolate ice cream cone catch, Hershey Kiss football throw, Tootsie Roll toss, M&M basketball shoot, Chocolate Fudge balance, Raisinetes stomp board catch, Chocolate Drops balloon tap, Peppermint Pattie Frisbee throw, and many more.  Students and mothers were challenged to go to all the stations together and see if they could do each station the correct number of times listed on the station description.  It was fun to watch children and moms, grandmothers, or other special guests, working together to accomplish a goal.

One of our kindergarten girls won the "Guess the M&M's in the Jar" contest.  Her guess was 690 M&M's and the actual count was 691.  Wow!  What a guess!  Congratulations.

Thank you for attending our very special event for Collegiate moms.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!
