Early Childhood Division Prepares for Homecoming With Its Own Pep Rally

Have you been hearing your child sing the Beach Boys song Be True to Your School?  If so, there's a good reason for it.  To prepare our students for the upper school homecoming pep rally on Friday, September 27, we will hold our own early childhood pep rally on Wednesday morning, September 25, at 8:30.  This is an effort to show the children what a pep rally is, what they will see, and what they are supposed to do at one.  We will ask the children to come to the pep rally in COLLEGIATE wear or dress in Spartan blue, white, or gold colors on this day.  When they come to the south gym they will be greeted with a banner run through by head football coach, Troy Black, along with some upper school football players, cheerleaders, band members, and team mascot "SPARTY."  Our students will do a Spartan spirit song, dance routine, drum line routine, cheers, and end with the Collegiate Alma Mater.  Everything will be short and sweet, but it should be great fun for our students.  I know they are very excited about this upcoming event. Please know that there is no need to purchase anything special for this day.  It is just our way of educating our age student about the purpose of a pep rally.  GO SPARTANS!!
