In Japan, students participated in a Japanese fan dance to the song "Sakura." We also had a chopstick relay and used real chopsticks that were adapted for use by children. Cotton balls were used for the rice. Students learned about cherry blossoms, kimonos, and how to say "Konnichiwa", which means “Hello” in Japanese. This greeting is generally used in the afternoon.
