Read and Romp Day

The early childhood Read and Romp Day was a wonderful event.  This day, which is dedicated to reading books and playing games, had children rotating to 10 different stations where volunteers read stories, played games, or ate a snack.  Children loved the books and activities.  Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make this day so special.  Whether you helped with decorating, served snack, took pictures, read a book, or played a game, your help was very much appreciated.  Thanks, too, for your assistance with cleaning up at the end of the day.

Mrs. Mould and I look forward to holding Read and Romp again next year.  We'll be on the lookout for more good books and fun activities.

The snack area was beautifully decorated with children's art work in a St. Patrick's Day theme.
Mrs. Paulseen read the book "How to Catch a Leprechaun."

Dust bunny hug tag was a favorite game.

Students listen to the book "101 Reasons Why I'm Not Taking a Bath."

Students wait with their yellow shoes as they listen to the book "A Dog Wearing Shoes."

Many thanks to our morning volunteers.

A special thank you to our afternoon volunteers.
