Students had such a good time on national "Love Your Pet Day" that I decided to continue it through the week. My original blog for this day has a link to pictures of every class participating in our "Pet Store" activity that involved throwing and catching. Please check it out on the previous blog.
One fun thing that happened today during Mrs. Kotkin's Physical Education class was a visit to our pet store by a dinosaur. A group of eighth grade students was creating a video outside and one of the students was dressed in an inflatable dinosaur costume. The dinosaur stopped by the gym and created quite a stir among the students. They loved it and thought it was so cool. My thanks to the eighth graders for adding such a fun moment to our physical education class.
