Last week when school was canceled on Thursday due to icy weather, we missed an activity that I planned for "Send a Friend a Card" day. Students chose computer made greeting cards that were spread out on the gym floor and matched them up with a sketched picture on the white board. Under the picture was a ball skill or exercise that they had to perform a certain number of times before the card was returned and a new one was chosen. Students were very active during this game.
