The Wichita State University men's basketball team could not hold on to a lead against Lipscomb University in the semifinals of the NIT basketball tournament on Tuesday night, thus falling to the Bisons 64-71. We thank the Shockers for their hard work throughout the season and wish them the best next year.
Thank you to all students, parents, faculty, and staff who came to school yesterday supporting WSU wearing their Shocker attire. It was a sea of black and gold in our hallways and everyone had fun thinking about the possibility of a NIT championship. Let's hope that all of our Kansas teams can do well next year and we will have a chance to support all of them in a post-season tournament.
